Based on Article 13 of the Swiss Constitution and data protection laws, every person has the right to protect their private domain and to safeguard their personal data against misuse. The La Prairie Group honors and adheres to these regulations.

Log files from the web and video servers, as created by conventional servers, are evaluated by La Prairie. These log files record which computer (IP number) called up which files. This data serves as a basis for improving the La Prairie website and any offers made on this website in a content and navigational context. No information about individual persons can be collected through these files.

Cookies are small text files which are saved on the hard disks of those who visit the website. They are used for storing media player settings, which makes them easier for visitors to use. It is the media players such as Real, Windows Media and Quicktime as well as the last band wave identified which are stored on your computer. The cookies used by La Prairie are not suitable for identifying a person.

Purpose: La Prairie stores and processes the data only for the purpose assigned to it at the point when it is created, which is visible in conjunction with the conditions or in accordance with the law

Newsletter Registration: When a person registers for their subscription, we indicate that they are required to provide their first name and family name, title and e-mail address. ZIP code and city, on the other hand, are voluntary. La Prairie uses whatever information is provided to gain a better understanding about our subscribers. The required information serves to improve the usefulness of the Newsletter and it also give us more "visibility" into the La Prairie market. Above and beyond the act of subscribing to the Newsletter, no further information about any person can be accessed or collected. When a subscription is cancelled, all data is deleted. The information provided is used solely by La Prairie and is never sold or made accessible in any form to third parties.

Right to information: Upon your request, La Prairie will provide you with any information that has been stored about you.

Deletion of stored data: Of course there is a possibility for you to request partial or complete deletion of stored data. For this purpose, we ask you to please use our contact form. We will accommodate your wishes without delay. We must, however, retain whatever information is required by law, but in this instance that information is not deleted but it will be blocked.

Data security: All data is stored on the server, which is operated at a high level of security and which is protected against access by unauthorized persons and misuse of data.

Transparency is very important to La Prairie when it comes to personal data. Therefore, questions or suggestions for improvement are always welcome and will reach us through use of the contact form.
